Family Martial Arts And Fitness

Midwest Martial Arts Academy is a unique family oriented martial arts school dedicated to the mental and physical enhancement of the human spirit.  Our state-of-the-art school creates an environment to experience positive empowerment. We offer programs in Little Warriors (ages 3 - 5), Junior Warriors (ages 6 - 10), Warriors (teen and adults), Fitness Kickboxing, Self Defense and Personalized Fitness for people of all ages and physical levels. We offer a curriculum that is deeply rooted in tradition and balanced with progressive and innovative teaching methods. Midwest Martial Arts Academy is open to serve you Monday through Thursday and on Saturday. Classes are offered to accommodate your schedule.

We Empower Our Students

Midwest Martial Arts Academy is fundamentally focused on LEARNING.  The goal is to empower our students and instructors through this process of learning.  The owner and head instructor, Charlie Foxman, 8th Degree Black Belt, continues his studies in the martial arts even after thirty years of martial arts training.  His motto is, "We constantly improve upon what we do, to better serve you".

What sets Midwest Martial Arts Academy apart from the rest? Simply, it’s our honest and sincere dedication to customer service.  The staff at Midwest Martial Arts Academy is committed to best serving our families and students.  Midwest Martial Arts Academy offers workshops in self-defense and child safety awareness classes.  Midwest Martial Arts Academy uses a "Learn To Earn" system which includes rewarding belt stripes. Also, special patches of recognition to students who achieve academic excellence in school, perform community service or excel in martial arts techniques.

Teaching Students With Developmental Disabilities

Children and teens with developmental disabilities often have difficulty in school. Their lack of attention, impulsiveness, hyperactivity, disorganization and focus often lead to missed assignments and careless errors. Charlie Foxman, Certified Martial Arts Instructor, has attended many conferences and workshops on teaching children and teens with developmental disabilities. Many clients remark that “his experience, patience and unique teaching style creates opportunities for students with developmental disabilities and their families to participate more fully in the community.  (References from Doctors and Therapists are available.)
